Now is your chance to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday and can save you up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping, with app-based no-go zones, and its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also self-empties and refills its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.
The Roomba J7+, IRobot's most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba j7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. This uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a photo of the object it comes across to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.

The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't vacuum in areas that you don't wish to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
Its design is superior to the rest and features a sleek, top piece that appears more like a toy robotic than a loud, obnoxious one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System automatically empty and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to took away dirt, dust, and pet hair. Its counter-rotating rubber brush rolls kept the debris in one spot rather than sending it scattering around the floor. It even was able to catch small gravel and sand which other robots can't. It did all this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as smart as the $1,217 Roomba S9+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is still an excellent choice for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not expensive, and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and it is sometimes difficult to tell if they are functioning until you actually witness them in action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the best option is probably one that is a hybrid. This kind of robot usually has a built-in water tank, meaning they can both mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but usually lower prices on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. This is their least expensive auto-empty model, and while it doesn't have some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to compromise a bit in order to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is exceptionally soft when it comes to obstacles such as walls and table legs. This makes it an excellent option for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. robot vacuum cleaner for sale is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The Q5+'s navigation is top-quality, with a few misses along walls or in corners.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled using the buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. With the app you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or re-label rooms.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this robot simple to maintain. Installing it requires a screwdriver, however, once it's in place it can be done with relative ease. It also has an impressive LCD display, which is nice to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, however it can help you effectively keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot vacuum and mop that's impressively clever in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are among the most advanced available however, it's also expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. The station's most appealing point is how it automates many tasks and functions that other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and ensures that your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming is also impressive. robot vacuum cleaner on sale 's the only robovac I've used that has done an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
However, the Freo X Ultra has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means that it can get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's also not able to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a docking station to create a clean zone for carpets with plush padding.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as some other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round mop and vacuum cleaner that's worth the premium price cost.
If you're looking to save money or aren't concerned about the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. A lot of eufy models are significantly less. The Eufy Qrevo Curv, for instance, is cheaper and offers an identical experience on the app with more features like stairs, a fully-function dock, and better overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.
4. eufy RoboVac g30
eufy, an Anker company is a long-standing leader of creating robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors as well as carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's simple to set up, simply connect one of the side brushes, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app takes you through several steps to connect it to your Wi-Fi. After that, the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock close to an outlet for power and enough space for it to move around, however.
The G30 is a tiny device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will fit under most couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious in comparison to other models. It has a sleek black finish with three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs an area in a spiral pattern for two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. It is also possible to connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform unscheduled cleaning.
The most important aspect that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It makes use of a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.
The eufy G30 isn't without its faults however. The iRobot Roomba 675 is more built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require more emptying. It also has boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is more affordable and simpler to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
